Bring your stories

On a computer: one click

Install the Taleback extension, open your chat on character.ai and press Save to Taleback. Your Character.AI login never leaves your browser: we only receive the character and the messages you see.

Taleback is not affiliated with Character.AI, and the extension is made without its permission. It brings the whole history of a chat, the character card, or all your chats at once.

Upload a file

A character card (.json or .png) and chats (.jsonl) from CAI Tools or SillyTavern. You can pick several files at once. Files are read on your device.
